The continent of Libertas and her two major mainlands Guwmir to the south and Idur to the north is known for its natural beauty from the Guwmir Plateau to Yaos' Springs, it is plagued by the Unman - creatures of the night who cause villages to vanish overnight and castle garrisons to tremble and flee in fear. This guide will attempt to catalog all known unnatural and beastly entities unique to Libertas. This guide thus will not go over common Unman such as trolls and griffons which are found in onther continents.
1. Common Entities
1.1. Corrupted
The Corrupted are former dwarves, elves, and humans either exposed to high concentrations of Gaeons or have been infested by Gaeon-infused bacteria or parasites. Known to humanity as the Crimson Plague, it mutates its hosts with cancerous growths while prolonging their deaths. The results is an often large Unman with extreme strength, speed and regenerative abilities in addition to affinity to Gaeons and Psycheons. The Corrupted are driven by base desires and will hunt or attempt to procreate with the non-infected despite their lack of need to eat or ability to create life.
Despite their lack of mind, they will always seek out high concentrations of Gaeons and Psycheons, thus making Gaeon pockets, the Gifted, and the enchanted targets which draw hordes.
The Corruption is believed to have originated on Idur and was brought into Guwmir on accident during the exodus.
Individually they will generally avoid confrontation unless they feel threatened or if they prey appears easy enough to overcome. However due to their original bodies belonging to a species of pack animals, they will form hordes and will grow increasingly aggressive, intelligent and thus dangerous as their numbers increase. Originally it was recommended to isolate members from hordes to make culling their numbers easier with significantly less casualties however the hordes have begun to use 'injured' looking pack members as bait to ambush and overwhelm their attackers.
Thanks to persistent hunting their numbers on either islands are low enough that they are no longer a major concern and only a threat to small villages and travelers.

1.3. Wraiths
Also known as spirits and ghosts, Wraiths are the byproduct of uncontrolled radiation of Psycheons from a Gifted individual who either has not learned to control their Gift or one who has recently expired. As such, Wraiths are not individual beings but the uncontrolled manifestation of the Gift's subconscious wishes. Wraiths are inherently dangerous to both the Gifted and their surroundings as it can damage or destroy buildings and objects and bring harm upon nearby individuals. Wraiths are significantly more powerful and dangerous in Gaeon Pockets. To prevent Wraiths from forming those with Gifts must be taught how to control Psycheon emissions both when conscious and unconscious.
In the event of a wraith attack, the number one defense is the elimination of the Gifted unless the Wraith is a result of the death. While the Gift may be rare, the loss of a single gifted is significantly less costly than the loss of an entire castle or city. Wraiths caused by death will eventually dissipate over time
2. Legendary Entities
2.1. Glugmowr, The Deep Sea Emperor
Glugmowr is a massive aquatic cephalopod worshiped by the Rubber Men as their creator and god. It wears upon itself a near impenetrable shell which protects its otherwise fleshy body from attacks. Sailor tails of Glugmowr include it swallowing entire ships and devastating entire merchant fleets and is believed have been responsible for the disappearance of half the human ships escaping to Guwmir from Idur during the Great Exodus. Glugmowr is also held responsible for disappeared sailors 'pulled overboard' by a massive tentacle. Whether this superstition is true or if the sailor had simply gone overboard does not change its effect on sailor behaviors who would refuse to go on deck at night and would prefer death to going down with their ship and be picked off later either by Rubber Men or Glugmowr himself.
Due to its legendary aggression, Rubber men often attack and capture both human and elven ships and their sailors to ritually consume in the name of their god.
2.2 Gryr, The Praetorian of The Forbidden King
2.2. Kementh, The Endless Serpent
Kementh is a massive black serpent of infinite length and is said to be the child of Owtyx, the Serpent God Of Life & Death. Kementh's endless length is said to represent the endless, infinite cycle of time and the futility of fighting against one's own birth and destruction. Kementh is believed to live in the endless and unexplored caverns of Winter's Peak in the Khazad'dun Steppes. His blood is widely believed in most circles to grant eternal life to those who consume it. Kementh is one of the worshiped deities of a number of the local tribes.
Kementh's first interaction with man was several hundred thousand years ago when the Forbidden King Who Shall Not Be Named who attempted to use his near limitless control over magic to grant himself eternal life. Kementh rose from his lair and lashed out at the King's fortress, consuming all who lived there and voided the fort's very existence.
One of Kementh's abilities include the ability to give or take life energy through his four eyes at a glance.
2.3. Shinkutori, The Winged Harbinger of The Crimson Night
Shinkutori is a large, four-winged creature who sails the sky at night. It is believed it both carries a near lethal cloud of Gaeons and Psycheons which heavily distort the area it is currently in, causing the night sky to light up and 'bleed', destroying anything that comes in contact with the blood. Shinkutori is believed to reside in Idur and is held responsible by human loremasters as the source of the Crimson Plague which drove the humans into exodus from their homeland. Shinkutori's appearances in the legends of the human survivors who stayed drop significantly after the exodus, signifying that it had either gone dormant or had flown south after its prey.
2.4. Suklous, He Who Speaks
2.5. Trokag, The Sleeping Continent
Trokag is an absolutely massive aquatic reptile-like creature several thousand kilometers in length. It wears on its back a massive shell which often is partially extruding from the surface of the ocean. Its age has allowed the shell to support its own island ecosystem with vegetation and animals living on its back as if it were simply a large island. The shell is extremely strong, and thus only the eroded rock and soil-like surface can be effectively drilled through. It is unknown what it eats and is believed to be dormant. Should it awaken and begin moving, its size can very easily disrupt the Northern and Southern Current, effectively disrupting the world's weather causing rapid temperature drops or rises in certain areas due to the lack of temperature diffusion.
