Overview:
Stamme Cubonia or, The Tribe of Cubonia, is the most powerful of the 13 tribes within The Northmen Confederacy. The High Kings for the past two centuries have been from this tribe, and it's renowned world wide for its feats in warfare and raiding. Hired constantly by the Elven kingdoms and the other human factions for its skilled fighters and brutal warfare tactics, they're recognized as some of the most feared warriors in all of Libertas. The tribes leadership can be traced back to King Tohrig "The Red Mage" Halfersson af Vikingr who from his feats of both magic and warfare coined the term "Viking" or Raider amongst the Northmen after him and his peoples fled the northern continent to migrate south due to the corrupted. The current High King of The Northmen Confederation and Stamme Cubonia is High King Eirikr IV "The Scarred" Ulfrsson af Cubonia while the heir and eldest of his three sons Henrik Eirikrsson af Cubonia is currently serving as the leading Captain among the Duncetochi's Norman Guard.
The Norman Guard: The Norman Guard was created by the Duncetochi in order to quell the constant raids by the Northmen on Valar territories, and to form a foreign security force to the Monarch that would remain loyal in almost any situation. It mostly consists of tribesmen from The Northmen Confederation and is made up of typically the the young sons or bastards of families who want to make a name for themself without the unreliability of being a Raider.
