Stephen Theogood
Vakiran Wizard, skirmisher, enchanter and smart ass
Born and raised in the Wulfthan Clan of Vakiran, Stephen was often mocked due to his shorter stature than others of his race, though he made up for it in reckless abandon and building himself up as a raw powerhouse of pain dealing. Though much of his time was spent brawling the other runts of his clan - and other clans, when tournaments rolled around - Stephen found himself constantly drawn to what few books his parents could bring in for him, the young lad becoming enraptured by tales of splendor and adventure, of knights and fair maidens, of dragons and heroes... Of magic. Setting out at a young age to begin to sate his wanderlust, the lad found himself in the care of another Vakiran by the name of Gregor, an older gentleman who quickly picked up on Stephen's want for knowledge and, in turn, magic. After a short while, Gregor revealed himself to be a practitioner of the arts, and eagerly adopted Stephen as his first - and only - pupil.
Time passed quickly under Gregor's care, Stephen picking up not only the arts of casting, but also enchanting, alchemy, staff handling, and, arguably the most important, dealing with others. By the time Stephen reached the age of twenty six, Gregor had instilled all he could for Stephen, sending him out on his way. The young Vakiran was enamored by the tales his master had weaved of far off lands, of beautiful elves and savage creatures, and he soon found himself exploring these lands, traveling from coast to coast and island to island. As time went on, the giant of a man found himself selling his services, helping rid towns of aether threats, undead, or even common bandits, and with each instance, more and more scars grew over his body and mind, weathering him to the ways of the world. Eventually - prior to the formation of the United Clans - Stephen found himself heading back home, rejoining Clan Wulfthan and picking up sword and axe as a skirmisher. The battle of the clans summarily ended after two years of bitter conflict and spilled blood, offering all Clans involved a new found respect for one another and ending with the formation of the United Clans.
Stephen now finds himself as a magical adviser for the Clans, and also as a diplomat, willingly traveling far and wide to set up trade agreements, offer Vakiran services, or simply introducing his kind to others around the world.
