[10/11/2015 4:24:26 PM] David I: First eleven kingdoms have been named and plotted.
[10/11/2015 4:24:41 PM] David I: More dwarven NPCs may be established, but otherwise its set
[10/11/2015 4:36:53 PM] David I: Right, time for the breakdown.
[10/11/2015 4:37:05 PM] David I: Initial ruleset.
[10/11/2015 4:38:20 PM] David I: This is a NationStates styled region following a system mostly derived from Shockcore Gaming. At this moment, I'll be your only admin, and I'll be in charge of making things interesting and enforcing the rules.
As with any standard NationStates region, the central focus is the growth and development of your nation in a roleplay context that includes all other participating players. However, in this case, a large amount of events will be created in order to promote roleplay, forcing roleplay outside of your standard warfare and politicking.
[10/11/2015 4:40:37 PM] David I: Lore is set here. After the initial worldbuilding phase, however, the majority of the lore will be made by the players and their interactions with each other and their world.
[10/11/2015 4:42:03 PM] David I: If you would like to make any change in the server that you believe would be either necessary or interesting, direct it to me first. The suggestion will then be evaluated by the players and accordingly placed depending on the support and its validity in the server.
[10/11/2015 4:43:48 PM] David I: The initial races are Humans, Dwarves, and Elves. Further playable factions will be placed in as time goes on - such as orcs, trolls, goblins, and possibly minoutars, and event creatures, such as the undead, will see action.
[10/11/2015 4:44:20 PM] David I: Each race has balanced attributes in order to make each one stand a chance.
[10/11/2015 4:45:06 PM] David I: Magic, in this roleplay is resource controlled, meaning that the more magic a nation uses, the more labor it must use to extract ore to fuel their magic. Certain groups have more magical prowess than others.
[10/11/2015 4:46:27 PM] David I: The map is currently 10,000 pixels by 7,000 pixels. Given that, please refrain from making supermassive claims in the early stage - and bear in mind the consequence of certain races on initial claims.
[10/11/2015 4:49:06 PM] David I: The start date is in the year 876 of the First Age. The beginning of the First Age was marked when the first World Tree was planted in the world, marking the end of divine interference to preserve the mortal plane.
[10/11/2015 4:50:42 PM | Edited 4:51:05 PM] David I: By this time, the Elves have been present on the world for over four millennia, and had established several well founded kingdoms, centered around the Kingdom of Quel'Dorei, the seat of power of the Elven world and the site of the First World Tree.
[10/11/2015 4:52:32 PM] David I: The Dwarves have been present for two and a half millennia, and had also established several city states, the most prominent of which being the Five Dwarvish Kingdoms of Ur, a set of states surrounding a bountiful lake, all vying for control of the land.
[10/11/2015 4:53:54 PM] David I: Man has been present for only a millennia, introduced to the world illegally and, as punishment, thrown into the frozen north to scrape away at moss to stay alive.
[10/11/2015 4:54:49 PM] David I: A grave pestilence has stricken the north, forcing the first men to flee south, across the seas, to a new world. It is now three hundred years later.
[10/11/2015 4:55:32 PM] David I: There are, in the mortal plane, several governing divine forces.
[10/11/2015 4:56:41 PM] David I: These divine forces are divided in half - Nine are the agents of statsis, and nine the agents of change.
[10/11/2015 4:56:56 PM] David I: Each takes certain aspects.
[10/11/2015 5:00:58 PM] David I: The agents of stasis take the following aspects - Time, Nature, Death, Wisdom, Light, Dark, Sky, Earth, and Water.
[10/11/2015 5:04:33 PM] David I: The agents of change take the following aspects - Dawn and Dusk, Madness, Nightmare and Dreams, Warfare and Destruction, Trickery, The Flow of Life, Hedonism, Hunt and Sport, and Love.
[10/11/2015 5:06:59 PM] David I: Each takes different names in the cultures.
[10/11/2015 5:07:35 PM] David I: You can choose as many as you like and name them and choose which is your chief diety, but each will have an assigned personality and will be seen.
[10/11/2015 5:07:39 PM] David I: Now go.
[10/11/2015 5:07:46 PM] David I: Make claims and start up your lore.
[10/11/2015 5:08:04 PM] David I: Most recent map uploading onto photobucket.
[10/11/2015 5:08:36 PM] David I: Also -
[10/11/2015 5:09:02 PM] David I: For now you can have a max of three "hero" characters per faction
[10/11/2015 5:09:10 PM] David I: a faction does not have to be landed or independent
[10/11/2015 4:24:41 PM] David I: More dwarven NPCs may be established, but otherwise its set
